I have to ask you a very important question and, because you are my friends, I expect an honest answer.
How could you, after years of knowing me, not tie me down and force me to watch Gilmore Girls. I believe you have done me a great disservice.
I will now continue to watch the show while ellipticaling, but I feel as though I've missed out on one of the best television programs of our generation (you know, except Veronica Mars).
But, now that I've discovered the quick talking, witty Lorelais, I suppose I can forgive you.
Oh know, does this mean I have to try Gossip Girl? You know I broke up with The CW last year...

Sorry it's been so long here, ShoesAlwaysFits gets all the attention from me these days, but it's nice to have a place to post about things other than dieting/weight loss.
So anyway, as many of you know I work in PR and in that role, I do a lot of research and learning and acting on how this whole internet/social networking/blog stuff is affecting my industry and our best friends -- the media.
Well, yesterday, was ABC's presentation to the media about Fall 2008. Lots of topics were covered, icnlduing Shonda Rimes opinion on Katherine Heigl's decision to pull out of the Emmy race. So yesterday, I watched my favorite TV blogs and Google News' entertainment section. So the "big" news was that Shonda holds no grudge against Katherine and has no plans to kill her off. All fine and good. So I knew this yesterday by say, 3 p.m. Today, I looked at Google's News entertaiment section and saw this there, and thougth to myself, "no kidding! I knew this yesterday!"
Whether banal topics like entertainment (btw, can you believe Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel broke up???) or breaking news, has the internet changed your expections about news items? Do you find yourself disappointed when your favorite news outlet is "behind" on the news because a blogger broke the news first?
And while you're wearing red, go shopping!
On Friday, February 1, Macy's is offering an all-day savings pass for customers wearing the signature heart-health color – red. For those who forget their red, Macy's is offering a Go Red For Women Red Dress pin and an all-day savings pass with a $2 donation to the American Heart Association.
Don't forget -- I'll try to remind you again this week.
I was lucky enough to see the show with my senior New Dimensions class during our trip to New York. "Season's of Love" was sung at my graduation. I think I've seen the show live four or five times.
I'm a little sad -- but I'm sure I'll survive. This also means that maybe

Speaking of the strike, is anyone else so sick of the crap that is taking over our airwaves? I'm not a huge fan of reality TV -- partly because the crap sucks me every time -- so I'm just wishing for more scripted TV. I am so thankful that Law and Order was held of for mid-season. I hear they have a whole lot of episodes in the can, so Det. Green and Jack McCoy will at least entertain me one night a week. Also, October Road is airing, which is a decent show. If you're curious about your favorite shows check out this handy chart on Wikipedia.

I'll try to remember and remind you again.
On Friday, I won a Gold Cleveland Rocks Award for my Greendog in store events (the very ones that took me across the country and back again for two months). These awards are given by the Cleveland chapter of PRSA.

I'm pretty excited, because I beat a campaign by the folks at Liggett!
